Sophs--Vocab Sentences Unit 10

All students in all of my sections of sophomore English classes should post their vocabulary sentence for Unit 10 at this site.

Make sure you give a context clue to the meaning of the word within your sentence.

Make sure you indicate the authorship of your sentence by writing your initials and your section color.

This is due before 9 p.m. on Sunday night, February 22. I need the sentences posted before then so that I can make up my test for class on Monday.

More Cuckoo's Nest homework

For class on Monday, read section 2 of the novel. In my book, this section includes pp. 129-173. The section begins after the World Series vote and ends with McMurphy smashing the window in the nurses' station.

You will definitely have a quiz on this section, perhaps an in-class writing assignment that goes beyond identifying characters and scenes.
