(4th journal) Why Don't You Look Where You're Going? The Movie

You're the director of the new full length motion picture based on the Walter Van Tilburgh Clark story, "Why Don't You Look Where You're Going?"

You've got to make some decisions to make this the best movie since Citizen Kane (see link).

You can cast the movie's main characters (the sailor, the young man, the masculine young lady, the tall man, the matron, the fat man) using Hollywood actors. Explain your decisions.

You can provide some songs for the movie's soundtrack to fit in with some key plot events or for the opening or closing credits. Explain your decisions.

Or to flesh out the rather sparse plot and dialogue, add some appropriate new scenes that fit in with the spirit of the original story.

Reminder of length requirement: 25 blog lines or 200 words if done on the blog--one page double spaced typed if NOT done on the blog.

Extra credit if you POST before Tuesday morning.

The casting for "Why Don't You Look Where You're Going?" The Movie, was pretty easy for me. I think it was because i know alot of actors. I would put Gary Busey at the spot of the Sailor. I would do this because he is great at yelling, as I've seen in his old show "I'm with Busey." I also think he would be very good at taking the form of a gruff, lonely sailor. At the spot of the young man, I would put Leanardo Dicaprio. I would definitly put him there because he is one of the greatest young male actors and can take the character of almost anyone. The masculine young lady would definitly be Sally Struthers, because she is chubby, and personally, I think she looks like a man. At the spot of the tall man, I would put Bob Saget he is a pretty big guy and is very calm and collected, at least in full house. The matron would be Eileen Essell. Although she isn't very well known, I think she did a great job in "Duplex." And finally, for the fat man I would use Danny Devito. He is Italian, short and chubby, and is an exquisite actor. This cast would make this movie the best movie ever.

For the movie version of “Why Don’t You Look Where You’re Going?” I would cast Jesse Spencer as the young man with fine blonde hair. One of the main reasons for this decision would be that he fits the role physically. He is a perfect blonde-haired blue-eyed Anglo-Saxon you man and would do well in that role. For the role of the square masculine young lady I would choose Winona Ryder, circa “Girl, Interrupted.” In that movie she had a very androgynous look about her, and is would also fit the square young lady image. I would have no choice but to cast Danny DeVito as the fat man. He not only fits the stereotype portrayed by the short story, but he is also an amazing actor and would do justice to any part given. Hugh Laurie would be given the role of the tall man. My reasons behind that choice would be the fact that he has a very absurd look about him and he seems distant and reserved, much like the tall man character. For the matron I would choose Kathy Bates, “Titanic,” because of her motherly appearance. I could see her chasing small children around very easily. A young Emilio Estevez would receive the role of the sailor. This would have to be because he is one of my favorite actors and he also fits the role. With this cast, the movie version of “Why Don’t You Look Where You’re Going” would have amazing potential.

For my casting of the movie version of "Why Don't You Look Where You're Going?" I would choose Nicole Kidman for the part of the mother. I can imagine her playing a role of compassion with an air of naiveness, as the mother of the twins. For the man with the fine blond hair I would choose Jude Law. I mean come on, how beautiful is he? I can just see him in his slacks with a dress shirt moseying around the deck of a cruise ship with a pair of binoculars in his hand. For the part of the sailor I would choose Billy Bob Thornton. Slap a beard on him and give him a boat. He has a kind of crazy disposition already so I can picture him maneuvering the sailboat while violently shaking his fist at the enormous ocean liner. For the tall man in the topcoat I would choose Dennis Quaid. His complexion would work well with the gray suit. He seems like the sort of man that could be looked up to and has some sort of unspoken authority over everyone. For the square masculine lady I would choose Demi Moore. She has a nice square jaw. She is a bit too feminine to play a masculine woman, but if you put her hair in a tight bun and did not apply a lot of makeup, I could see her playing an intellectual but rejected woman. For the stout man I would choose Jason Alexander. I love the show Seinfeld and I really get a kick out of the character, George, he plays. I think that a combination of this cast would create an amazing film, maybe even win best motion picture for 2007.

Choosing the cast for a movie interpretation of the short story, “Why Don’t You Look Where You’re Going?” came pretty easy to me. I think it was easy because the parts that need actors are pretty easy to fill and there are a lot of good actors and actresses around today. First off, I would choose Michelle Rodriguez from the TV show Lost for the role of the square masculine young lady. In the show, she plays a rather masculine young woman who can be an outcast and I think she would fit the part in this movie very well. For the tall man, Clint Eastwood was the first to come to mind. I think he would fit the part because he is tall, he commands the attention of the audience and has an unspoken authority about him. For the fat man, I chose John Goodman. I chose him because he is fat, and I could see him wearing linen knickers. For the part of the sailor, I immediately thought of Jack Nicholson because I can definitely see him on a little boat by himself looking all disheveled, yelling and screaming recklessly. For the matron, I can really see Julia Roberts playing the part just because when I think of her, I can see her playing a mother. For the young man with fine blonde hair, the first actor to come to mind was Jude Law because he just seems like he’d fit the part perfectly judging from the movies he’s performed in. I think that this cast would make for a great movie and an accurate interpretation of the short story.

This was a pretty interesting topic. I know a lot of very goods actors that could take the roles of the main characters. I would cast Jane Seymour as the matron with the twin six year olds. She seems to be the motherly type with a unique attitude. Since I saw her in A Memory in My Heart, she was the perfect example of the matron. Even though she may not be that young anymore, I would definitely cast Hilary Swank as the masculine young lady, because the description fits her perfectly. The fat man would have to be Danny DeVito. He has the perfect attitude and personality that I would imagine for the movie. No one else could fit the description of the fat man better. I would give the role of the sailor to Robbie Coltrane, who plays Rubeus Hagrid in Harry Potter. He fits the physical description perfectly and he can get pretty tough when he's angry, so I can imagine him shaking a fist at the ocean liner of society. The tall man in the topcoat would be Chris Cooper. I don't know his exact height, but he's famous for playing mysterious figures that are businessmen. Finally, the role of the young man would be given to Tom Felton. He has blonde hair and he likes to boast. I think that with so many fantastic actors, this movie would be number one on the charts.

The story, “Why Don’t You Look Where Your Going?” has six very different very distinct characters. Each one of these characters has a unique personality and an important role in the plot of the story. For my upcoming film which is based on this story I am going to cast those six characters. The characters are described as, “the sailor, the young man, the masculine young lady, the tall man, the matron, and the fat man.” For the part of the sailor, I chose the actor Johnny Depp because he is used to acting on ships and on water from his role in Pirates of the Caribbean. In that movie, Johnny Depp was the captain of a ship named, “The Flying Dutchman,” which increases his compatibility for the part as well. For the young man, I chose Leonardo DiCaprio. DiCaprio fits perfectly for this part because he is a blond-haired good looking guy who many people envy. He has played many roles where all eyes are on him which is why I chose him because all eyes are on the young man in, “Why Don’t You Look Where Your Going?” The fat is going to be played by none other than Danny DiVido. He is prefect for this role because he is short, stout, and mustached just like the character in the story. His character in the children’s film Matilda greatly resembles the character he is going to play in this story. Both of them wear the same type of clothing and have the same type of personality. They both are doing whatever they can to fir in with the crowd even though the crowd doesn’t really want them. For the masculine young lady, I chose Jodie Foster. I chose her because she has some masculine features and a deep voice. Jodie Foster is intelligent and experienced so I think she will do great in the role of this square, outspoken woman. The tall man will be played by Brad Garrett also known as Robert on the television sitcom, Everybody Loves Raymond. Garrett is tall and has a low voice, both of which stand out a lot in crowds. This is important, because the tall man in the story stands out so the actor I chose needed to stand out as well. For my final character, the matron, I chose Julia Roberts. A new mother herself, Julia Roberts is kind-hearted and warm, the perfect example of the All-American housewife. All of the actors and actresses I have chosen will help bring this film to the top of the charts and give it the star quality I know it can have!

For the cast of the new feature movie, “Why Don’t You Look Where You’re Going” I chose a variety of characters that range from very conservative to very funny. I found this journal to be somewhat hard because I don’t know many actors or actresses, so I gave it my best shot. I chose Bruce Willis as the tall man in the gray topcoat because he comes off as a conservative person to me. I cannot really see him as wearing a gray topcoat, but I could see him as the first person to spy the figure in the water. The actor I have playing the role of the young man with blonde hair is Leonardo DiCaprio. I chose him because, he is young and has blonde hair, and also because he was the star in the famous movie Titanic, which also took place on a large ship. I have Robert DiNiro as the sailor because I could see him as a person that can keep his cool but can also be demanding. For example in the movie, “ Meet the Parents”, DiNiro played the strict boss no one really liked. I chose Missi Pyle as the masculine young lady because she was the first person to come to mind considering she was the masculine Russian who played in the movie “Dodgeball.” For the role of the matron I chose Angelina Jolie because she has four kids running around and she is only thirty-two years old. Finally I chose Danny Devito as the fat man because he is perfect for the role, he is fat and anyone could picture him wearing linen knickers.

If I was to cast the characters in the story, “Why Don’t You Look Where You’re Going,” as actor and actresses today I think the first person I would cast would be the fat man. The actor today that would play his part would be Danny DeVito. I chose him because in the movie Matilda he played a car sales man who cheated people out of their money. He also had to have a say in things and was very obnoxious. I think the fat man in the story had the same personality traits Danny DeVito had in Matilda. I would choose Angelina Jolie to play the masculine young lady. I chose her because in many movies she has starred in, she is a character who uses guns to kill people and fights for things. She also surprises people in her movies by what she says and does. The masculine young lady does this throughout the story. For the young man with the fine blond hair I would choose Owen Wilson. Even though he is funny in most of the movies he stars in, many actor and actresses are still starving for attention from people. Many people look up to him as a role model because he is such a good actor, which causes him to get much attention. For the tall man I would choose Denzel Washington to act out his part. Denzel Washington has always struck me as an intelligent person, and from what the tall man says and does he seems to be intelligent. He is always in movies that are important and he seems to know what he’s talking about and doing. I would choose Tom Hanks to play the captain of the Flying Dutchman. In the movie Cast Away Tom Hanks plays a man deserted on a stranded island who has to make due with what he has, which isn’t much. The sailor who is curses to the seas forever has to make due with his life the way it is. Tom Hanks played a good part in that movie and I could picture him being a lonely sailor. An actress that could play the matron I would choose Catherine Hicks. In our society she plays the mother in 7th Heaven. I think she would be a good matron because she has a motherly way about her, and has much experience being a mother in her other experiences.

My choice for this journal entry is to assemble a star cast to blow movies like Citizen Kane and Casablanca out of the water. There are six main characters I need to cast. First, I give the part of the fat man to Jimmy Kimmel. He is known for his antics on Jimmy Kimmel Live and especially on The Man Show. I think he perfectly fits the role because he is loud, arrogant, chubby, and would be more than willing to wear linen knickers. For the part of the masculine young lady, I give Maria Sharapova the part. She is young, athletic, and makes a manly grunting sound everytime she hits the ball. For the young man with blonde hair, Owen Wilson fits the part. He has a nice head of blonde hair, and he is one of the best actors out there. The part of the matron goes to Joanna Kerns. Kerns was the mother on the sitcom Growing Pains. She had to maintain over ten kids, and did a nice job doing so, while still looking good. In my movie, Tom Hanks gets the part of the sailor. This is because he is my favorite actor and has experience acting in the ocean environment. He did a great job in his movie Cast Away. Finally, the part of the tall man will go to Brad Garrett. Garrett showed off his superb acting skills in Everybody Loves Raymond and ‘Til Death. He is also one of the tallest actors out there. I also decided to give this film a director. If I could bring a director back from the dead, it would undoubtedly be Alfred Hitchcock. I consider him the best director of all time, due to his movies like Vertigo and The Birds. But if I can’t raise the deceased, then I would choose Peter Jackson. He did a phenomenal job in the Lord of the Rings trilogy, and I would like to see what he could do with my movie.

The story “Why Don’t You Look Where You’re Going,” would be a great movie to direct because it has such a powerful message about our society and I think many would enjoy it. For the character of the sailor I would put Tom Hanks because he is good at portraying a lost and lonely but strong character like in “Cast Away” or “Forest Gump.” Even though he may not have many people supporting him, he still has the will power to keep going. Also, because I would need someone who can grow a good, bushy beard. For the young man I would use Jeremy Sumpter from “Peter Pan.” This is because he is very good looking and he has blonde hair as it is described in Clark’s story. Plus, Sumpter is a good leader and he wants to make everyone content. For the character of the masculine young lady, I would choose Rosie O’Donald. I would choose her because she is very big and masculine looking and she is also a very smart lady. I think that she will be able to show the difference between her and the rest of society and how they react to her. For the tall man I will use Adrian Brody because he is a tall man. Brody is good at looking like a rich, wise person who looks like he knows what he is doing. For the matron I will pick Barbra Streisand because she is a very loving person. I believe she will be a good mother figure and show the caring side of a matron. To play the fat man I will use Jack Black because he is a very humorous, silly person. He is short and stout and he is the kind of person that you can’t really take seriously. With this cast, I am sure that this film will turn out great.

I had a lot of fun trying to pick actors and actresses that I would cast in my version of “Why Don’t You Look Were You’re Going?” It was also challenging to try to find the perfect person to fit the part of each character, as I pictured them, when there are so many great Hollywood actors and actresses to choose from. As the young man with blonde hair I would cast Jesse McCartney. My reason for picking him is because of his physical characteristics. He has light blonde hair and light blue-green eyes. I can really picture Colin Ferrell waving his arms and shouting, almost cursing, at a huge ocean liner coming towards him and his tiny sailboat. He is usually very scruffy and unkempt so I think he would be perfect to play a lonely sailor who has been out to sea for a very long time. Winona Ryder reminds me of a masculine lady because her hair is always very short and she has a very strong chin. I can also see her speaking out of turn or knowledgably about a subject and then being rebuked for her action. As the matron I would probably cast someone like Joan Cusack because she often plays a mother in the movies that she stars in. She is very good at playing the maternal, patient and caring characters. For the part of the tall, skinny man I would cast Bob Saget. I would choose him mainly because he is very tall and skinny. He also looks like the type of man that would wear a gray topcoat. Last but definitely not least, I would choose Danny DeVito as the fat man because besides the fact that he has the body type to play this character, he would also look good with a mustache. I feel pretty confident that this cast would make for a great Hollywood film.

Some say the cast of "Ocean's Thirteen" is the greatest ever, I beg to differ. Creating a crew for "Why Don't You Look Where You're Going" may be my easiest assignment ever, so here it goes. My choice of a sailor would be Cuba Gooding Jr., a strong choice because of his naval experience on screen in "Pearl Harbor." The young man would be played by Pierce Brosnan, not a very youthful selection, but a sturdy "blonde" actor carrying the legend of James Bond. My next selection would be John Travolta, an extremely masculine looking man who seems to enjoy crossdressing, as he had done in the new musical Hairspray." Vince Vaughn would be my next pick, catching the role of the tall man. Standing at an astonishing 6'6, he is the most popular actor of height we know today. Reese Witherspoon would be my matron. As an actress in her late 20s, I can see her chasing around a group of quadruplets very clearly. Last but not least, I choose Drew Carrey to be my fat man A stout, middle-aged man, Carrey never fails to amuse me, especially in his "Whose Line Is It Anyway" Sitcom, so I needed to add a jolly figure to the greatest casting ever.

I chose to make up a cast for “Why Don’t You Look Where You’re Going?” I need to cast the six main characters. For the man with fine blonde hair I would pick Hayden Christensen from “Star Wars.” I would pick him because he is a well-known actor and has the looks and attracts a lot of attention. For the square masculine young lady I would have to choose Natalie Portman because of her role in “V For Vendetta.” In this movie she shaves her head and gives her that masculine look which actually suits her nicely. For the matron with twin six year olds I would pick Chandra Wilson. She is the chief resident in Grey’s Anatomy. She is a mother and would make a great actress in my movie. The tall man would be Nicolas Cage. He would be a good choice because he is very serious looking and I could see him wearing a grey topcoat. For the sailor of the Flying Dutchman I would pick Bruce Willis. I could see him in the boat throwing a fit and yelling at the ocean liner to give the movie a little humor. Last for the fat man I would pick Jack Black. He would be very slick in his checkered knickers and a golfers hat. He is very loud and is out there, which I think is a good combination for this role. I think would be the best cast to blow away the movie Citizen Kane.

For the short story, “Why don’t you look where you’re going?” I would enjoy making the cast for all the major characters. In this blog response I will tell you just who I think fits the sailor, young man, masculine young woman, tall man, matron, and the fat man. For the tall man, I would have Arnold Schwarzenegger. I chose Arnold because in the story the tall man is plain and hardly talks much, basically fitting Arnold in all of his movies. Less talk, more action. Clint Eastwood would be my sailor because he fits his description in my mind. The matron that popped up in my mind is Sigourney Weaver. She reminds me of the caring mother that the story had described. When thinking of the strict young masculine woman, Natalie Portman came to mind. I don’t find her attractive and I could easily see her being no nonsense and right to the point when talking. My young man would be Leonardo DiCaprio because of his good looks and blonde hair. It seems that everyone looks up to him because he is almost perfect in a lot of people’s minds. Finally my fat man would have to be Phillip Hoffman. Although not that great looking at a little overweight, he is far away from not being hip and into times. I could see him wearing knickers just like all the other men on board. This would be my cast for the story.

If I were to select the cast for "Why Don't You look Where You're Going?", you can say that it would be an interesting group. For the role of the sailor I would choose Jamie Bamber, who plays Midshipman Archie kennedy in the series of Horatio Hornblower. He is used to yelling and I fell that he would also have the look and experience to be a sailor. I would cast Haley Joel Osment for the role of the young man. We all know him from famous movies including The Sixth Sense and Forest Gump. To fill the role of the masculine young lady I would choose to cast Demi Moore. She most reminds me of a masculine young lady from her role in G.I. Jane as Lt. Jordan O'Neil. As the tall man I think I would have to go with Denzel Washington. His name came to mind because he is a tall man and I always see him in a nice jacket, and occasionally depending on his role in the movie. As for the matron, I think i would have to go with Sandra Bullock. I would choose her because she comes across as a caring person and she seems to have a motherly appearance. And finally, for the role of the fat man, I would without a doubt have to go with Danny Devito. His appearance is perfect and he seems that he would definitley have the right attitude to play this role. I personally think that with his cast, the movie would hit the screens with great reviews..and not to mention good box office reviews!

Personally I am not fond of music and actors since I do not watch a lot of movies. I would pick option number three. For picking extra scenes to go in the movie, I would show a scene about what happened below deck. Most of the scenes were people above the deck and it would be really fitting if there is a scene showing below the deck. For example people looking through the windows through their quarters. They cannot see as clear to what is going on, but they are very eager and trying to see through their tiny window. It also adds to the symbolism to the story. For the story you should add more description to the characters such as the fat man and the sailor so that the people watching the movie can get a sense of the characters. For the weather and scenery of the boat, it should be a rainy day. For example, so that the rising action would be more intense and so it would make more sense to movie watchers why they say, “Why don’t you look where you’re going?” With just making the movie more easier to comprehend the rain can also be symbolic. For example it can show how our society is not as bright and colorful as it should be. Because of all this discoloration, we cannot see where we are going. Therefore, people have to guide us where we should go. With that said, I think these are good scenes to begin with if I was to make a movie about this story.

I chose to create a soundtrack for the movie "Why Don't You Look Where You're Going." As the opening song, I have "Lazing on a Sunday Afternoon" by Queen. I think this song is fitting because it's simply about relaxing and living a leisurely lifestyle. At the beginning of the story, the mood is just so; people on board were "comfortable and satisfied" on a warm summer day in the middle of a blue ocean. When the tall man in the gray topcoat spots something out on the water, "Is There Anybody Out There" by Pink Floyd would begin to play. I think that this song would add a darker tone to this scene and create a mysterious and almost eerie aura. Although the story doesn't really imply this kind of feeling, I think it would be interesting to change the mood a bit. For the scene in which the main characters are discussing the unknown object, I would play "With a Little Help from My Friends" by the Beatles. At this point, characters are offering their varied opinions and ideas regarding the object, which ultimately leads to the discovery of its identity. By sort of working together, they were able to achieve what they wanted. When they discover that there is a ship and talk about its dreadful fate, I would have the song "Cold Wind" by The Arcade Fire play. This song has sort of a dreadful sound. This would fit in with this part of the story well because the characters are discussing what would happen when the huge ocean liner collides with a small wooden boat. For the part where the sailor is rushing to move out of the way, I would have the song "The Suits Are Picking Up the Bill" by the Squirrel Nut Zippers play. This is an upbeat jazzy tune with sort of a swing feel. For the next scene with the two boats passing each other, "After Hours" by the Velvet Underground would play. This song sounds calm and lighthearted which would somewhat mimic the outlook of sailor who only appears to be angry. For the part where the people on the ship realize the joke, I would play "Here Comes the Sun" by the Bealtes. This part of the story is a time of relief where the people recognize how the sailor was being playful. While the masculine young lady is wistfully peering out at the boat at the end of the story, "Where the Streets Have No Name" by U2 would begin to play. At the beginning of the song, the sounds are mysterious and sort of wistful. A little bit longer and this song becomes more upbeat, which would be where the credits come in. I think this would be an okay soundtrack for this movie because many of the songs are quite fitting.

For my movie version casting of "Why Don't You Look Where You're Going", I would cast Brad Pitt as the young man with fine blonde hair. I would place him here because he is one of the stereotypical "goodlooking" male actors that teenage girls always seem to like. For the sailor, I would place Johnny Depp in that role. I would do this because when I think of Johnny Depp, I think of Pirates of the Carribean. For the fat man, I would use Danny Devito. I always remember him playing a fat evil penguin-man in Batman Returns, which I used to watch alot when I was little. For the masculine young lady I would use Margaret Hamilton. She played the wicked witch in The Wizard of Oz and i always remembered her as being a little boyish. For the tall man, I would use Shaquille O'Neal, because when I think of him, I just think of tallness. Finally, for the matron, I would definatley use Catherine Hicks. She played the role of the mother in the tv show 7th Heaven. The show is extremley corny, but she plays some sort of super mom, so when I think of mom, I think of her. I think my cast would make a very interesting film.

My choices of the casting for "Why Don't You Look Where You're Going" movie came to me almost instantly. For the masculine young lady I would cast Jennifer Garner. I would cast her as this because of her role on the TV show Alias. In that show she was a young lady who worked in the CIA. She goes undercover on missions and risks her life while beating up the bad guys, which to me makes her seem masculine. For the sailor I would cast Johnny Depp. I would cast him because of the great role he played as Captain Jack Sparrow in Pirates of the Carribbean. He is already used to being on the Flying Dutchman so I figure he would be the best for this part. For the fat man I would cast Danny De Vito because of his figure and features. He is stout and in the movie Matilda he had a mustache which fits the fat man in this movie perfectly. Also in Matilda he was a car salesman who cheated people out of their money and the fat man reminds me of someone who would do that. For the part of the matron I would pick Mary McCormack. I would cast her as this role because of the part she played in the movie Dickie Roberts: Former Child Star. In this movie she is the mother of two children and is trying to teach a former child star who missed out on his childhood how to be a kid. For the young man with fine blonde hair I would cast Leonardo DiCaprio. He is a very good looking man who fits the "fine blonde hair" catagory well. Finally, for the tall man I would cast Vince Vaughn. I would cast him because he seems to be the kind of man that other people look up to in life. Also because he really is a tall man! With this cast that I have picked, I feel this movie will be a great one!

The cast of the upcoming movie "Why Don't You Look Where You're Going?".The part of the sailor will be played by Orlando Bloom. I chose Orlando because he did a great job as a pirate on a ship in the Pirates of the Caribbean. The young man i would cast Brad Pitt. I believe Brad Pitt would fit this part because he is young and good looking. The part of the square young lady would be played by Rossie O'Donald. Rossie would be good for this part because most people see her as a weird outcast and she doesn't have that feminine look. For the tall man I think I would star "the Rock" because of his hight that catches everyones eye. The matron would be Julie Andrews. I chose her because she did such a wonderful performance in "The Sound of Music". And lastly the part of the short fat man will be played by Jason Alexander. He is a funny character in Seinfeld that will add a comic twist to the movie.

For "Why Don't You Look Where You're Going?" the full length motion picture, I would cast many interesting actors and actresses that I feel fit these parts very well. For the sailor i would have to pick the actor Johnny Depp becasue he fits the part of the relaxed, laid back, and somewhat different actor. He is moslty portrayed as an outcast in the movies that he is in. For the young man, I would have to choose Owen Wilson because he is one of my favorit actors and he has long flowing blonde curls of hair. For the Fat man my choice woul have to be Danny Devito because he fits the description perfectley when the fat man in the story is mentioned. For the matron, Angelina Jolie would have to play the part because she always seems to be caring for her children and plays some motherly parts in her other film roles. Last and not least would be the masculine young lady. For this part i would cast Rosie Odonell. She fits this character perfectley because of her a little more manyl physique, Plus she fits into the square part of the description as well. I believe that all of these great actors could come together to make this beautifully written story into a intriging, in depth motion picture.

For my casting of " Why don't you look where you're going?" I would first cast, for the masculine young woman, Angelina Jolie because she is very masculine and in the movies she has starred in she does things that would be fitting for a male part. For the young man, I would cast Leonardo DiCaprio because he is young a great actor, and has been in many different movies. For the tall man, I would pick Vince Vaughn becuase he is extremely tall and is usually calm. For the sailor, I would choose Johnny Depp because everytime I think of him I think of Pirates of the Carribean. The fat man would be Jason Alexander becuase he is funny and would ad comic relief. Lastly the part for the matron would be Rita Wilson because she put her career on hold in order to raise her kids. This cast would be an exceptional cast because it blends experience with great acting.

If I was to cast the characters in the story, “Why Don’t You Look Where You’re Going,” as actor and actresses today, I would pick many different interesting characters. For the character described as, “the sailor” I would select the actor Johnny Depp because he was recently in the “Pirates of the Caribbean” movies and would have great experience in acting as a sailor. He already has the experience as a captain of a ship and he would be interested to see what it would be like to act as a sailor that listens to the captain which increases his compatibility for the part. For the character described as the “fat man” I would pick actor Danny DeVito. DeVito is perfect for this role because he is short, stout, and he has a mustache just like the character in the story. His character in his movies resembles the character he is going to play in “Why Don’t You Look Where Your Going?” Both of them wear the same type of clothing and have the same type of personality. They both are doing whatever they can to fit in with the crowd, even though nobody really does want them. For the character described as “the masculine young lady”, I would pick the actress Jennifer Garner. I would choose her because she is very masculine. She is very strong for a woman and she is squarely built. She is also very smart and because she is different than a “normal” young lady, she will do great in the role of this outspoken woman. For the character described as “the young man with fine blonde hair”, I would pick the actor Leonardo DiCaprio. DiCaprio fits perfectly for this part. He fits perfectly because he has blond-hair and he is an attractive guy who many people are jealous of him because of these attributes. He gets lots of attention in real life and he is a major role in every movie he is in. He gets all the attention in his movies. He has played many roles where all eyes are on him. I chose him because all eyes are on the young man in, “Why Don’t You Look Where Your Going?” just like him in the movies. For the character known as the “tall man with the grey top coat” I would choose actor Brad Garret from “Everybody Loves Raymond” He fits the role perfectly. He is tall and has a low voice, both stand out a lot. This is essential, because the tall man in the story stands out, so the actor I need has to stand out as well. For the final character described as “the matron”, I chose Julia Roberts as my actress. She is a mother herself, She is kind and she has an aura of a comfortable warmness, the epitome of the American housewife. All of these actors and actresses I have chosen will make this a very interesting movie, filled with star power.

In the movie version, "Why Don't You Look Where You're Going?”, I would have Johnny Depp playing the sailor. I would do this because of his great performance of Captain jack Sparrow in the movie Pirates of the Caribbean. For the Fine young man I would Leonardo DiCaprio. I think he is the best there because he is a young, good looking actor with blonde hair. People look up to him and he played Jack in the famous movie Titanic. The first person that came to my mind for the role of the masculine young lady was Missi Pyle from the movie "Dodge ball". I could see her playing that role because she comes of as masculine person. For the fat man I chose Danny Devito. He is perfect for this role because he is a short, stout, mustached man. His personality is similar to the fat man character in "Why Don't You Look Where You're Going?" and the father in children's movie "Matilda." For the role as Matron I chose Julia Roberts because she is a kind-hearted and warm person. I could see her running around after the twins. I think this cast would make a great movie.

The stars come out to play in the film adaptation of Why don’t you look where you’re going? The new movie stars actors as big as Johnny Depp, Julia Roberts, Brad Garrett, Toby Hemingway, and William Shatner. Johnny Depp portrays the frazzled and rather annoyed sailor at sea, whom is almost run over by the huge ocean liner. The people aboard the ocean liner become quite concerned with the sailor’s fate. As the people on board converse about the object in the water, five obvious characters surface. One character, the tall man, will be portrayed by Brad Garrett, chosen for the role because of his height. The young blonde man, portrayed by rookie Toby Hemingway, was cast for his blonde hair and his comfort level with playing a character who must be right at all times. Julia Roberts, who plays the matron, was chosen due to her motherly aura, thanks to her twins. The fat man is played by William Shatner, who was chosen for his size and his great acting ability. Hilary Swank portrays the masculine younger woman because of her masculine physical features. The musical selection for the dramatic moments in the movie and the credits will be created by Hans Zimmer. Hans Zimmer is famous for his music in the movies Batman, The Lord of the Rings, and Pirates of the Caribbean. The first half of the story begins by getting to know the key characters, and then the second half will show the encounter with the sailboat. This will portray how the characters interact with one another, and show the conclusion of the story with Johnny Depp’s character.

If i were a director for why don't you look where your going, i would chose my character options wisely. Jack Nicholson would be the perfect sailor because he is "off the beaten path." The man plays alot of odd characters, like in "Anger Management." He would be nice for this part also because of the way he looks. As for the young man, matt damon would be perfect for the role, of course he would have to die his hair. Matt is a premier actor and can fill any role, as in the bourne supremacy and in oceans eleven. I believe the masculine young lady would have to be doctor phil. Actually he is too girly for the role. A better choice would be Christy Alley from toothless. She is histerically funny and kind of has a man's voice and stature and would be a perfect fit for this role. The tall man would be a great choice for vince vauhgn. He is a tall collected actor and would bring some much needed comedic relief to the movie. The fat man would be eddie murphy because as he showed us in Norbit, he can play any role.

This is a tough one because so many people could play these roles; I' m having a hard time picking the perfect ones. In the casting of "Why Don't You Look Where You're Going?" The Movie I would choose Mark-Paul Gosselaar as the young man with fine blond hair. He played the role of Zach perfectly in "Saved by the Bell". He has the ability to play a very smart young handsome man. His appearance fits the part as well. For the part of the masculine young lady I would choose America Ferrera. Her appearance is absolutely perfect for the role. In addition, she plays this role now in "Ugly Betty". Since I can see her capabilities, this was the only easy choice. For the role of the sailor my choice is Bruce Willis. First of all, he is an extraordinary actor, so this role would be a pinch for him. Second, I think he is the epitome of the sailor look. His rough attitude in movies convinces me of this. I would cast Bob Saget for the role of the tall man. In "Full House," he comes across as a very reserved man, leading me to believe that he play this role with great success. His height matches the character profile as well. In "Full House," I could see a great ability to make you believe in his personaality. I think this quality would carry over to this movie. I would select Renee Zellweger as the part of the matron. I not sure why, but she comes across as being a motherly type woman. I could see her chasing around young twins and applying discipline. I get this feeling from my viewing of "Cinderella Man". She played the struggling mother very well in this movie. Lastly, for the fat man i would select Larry Joe Campbell from "According to Jim". I pick him just because he is so fat. He does a really good job as Andy in the television show, and I believe he could play this role with success. This will be the best movie ever with this casting.

If I were to be the casting director of "Why Don't You Look Where You're Going?" I would cast some of the best actors around. For hte sailor I would use Will Smith, "I am Legond", I would use him because in the movie "I am Legend" he plays a similar role to the sailor. I can also see him yelling back to the crowd saying "Why don't you look where you're going." very easily. As the young man with fine blonde hair I would use Leanardo Dicaprio. I would use Leanardo Dicaprio because he is one of the best young male actors out there and he does have pretty nice hair. For the masculine young lady i would use Natile Portman,"Star Wars". I would use Mrs. Portman because in some movies she plays in she shaves her head which in my opinon maakes her look a little bit manly. As the tall man I would cast John Trovalta. He is one of the beset actors of our time and can play any role that is given too him. I believe he could play the suspecious role of the tall man but also show a sense of kindness and clarity. As The fat man in linen knickers i would cast Danny Devito. Danny Devito is a bit portly and with his tone of voice he can be as annoying as the fat man. He is a great actor none the less and could play his role very well. These actors would put together a very intense and interesting show but it would no doubtably be great.

Thinking of people to be actors for the movie version of "Why Don't You Look Where You're Going" is not that difficult. When I try and picture "Why Don't You Look Where You're Going" the first thing i picture is the Titanic. Of course, since it reminds me of the Titanic, I would cast some of the actors/actresses to be in the movie. I would cast Leonardo DiCaprio as the young man with fine blond hair. He is smart, and also very good looking. Another character I would use from the Titanic is Rose's mother's best friend. I would cast her as the masculine square lady because she was kind of different than most women in the Titanic and a big lady. Also, I would cast Edward Herrmann, who plays the father in Gilmore Girls, as the tall man because he is very proper and respected, and I would cast Johnny Depp as the sailor because he's not afraid to be different and is kind of crazy. Also, he was a sailor in all of the Pirate movies.

In a movie of "Why Don't You Look Where You're Going?" I would make Morgan Freeman the sailor because he is just one of my favorite actors and he can play any part. The young man's spot would be played by George Clooney because he is known for his good looks which is what the young mans known for. The masculine young lady would be played by Rosie O'Donnald because in ways she is masculine but is not an outcast like the real masculine young lady. The spot of the tall man would be played by Tom Sellick because he is a fairly calm guy and is very tall. The matron would be played by Angelina Jolie because she adopted a couple kids from foriegn contries and i seen it no TV. I would have John Candy play the part of the stout man, but he passed away. He was the actor in the movie Tommy Boy. He would have been perfect for the part because of his body figure. I feel this cast would be the best cast because they all relate to the real characters somehow.

If I had to cast the characters in the short story, “Why Don’t You Look Where You’re Going,” for a movie, I would choose actors and actresses that would fit the character. For the sailor at sea, I would choose Johnny Depp. He already has played the main pirate in the Pirates of the Caribbean movies exceptionally superior. I believe he would fit the sailor character perfectly. For the young man with blonde hair, I would probably choose Owen Wilson. He is a great actor and also has fine blonde hair, which would make him a good choice to play this part. I had a little trouble finding an actress to fit the part of the masculine young lady, but I finally found someone. I would choose Rosie O’Donnell for this part because she is a very manly woman and in my mind is one who I picture when I read about the masculine young lady. For the tall man I chose Brad Garret from “Everybody Loves Raymond” because he is 6’8” and would fit the character well. The part of the matron in the story would be played by Catherine Hicks from 7th Heaven. When I was trying to think of an actress that played a mother very well, I thought of her. She was the first person I thought of that would fit the matron and I could not think of anyone better. Finally, I would pick Jack Black to play the part of the fat man. He is already pretty fat and pudgy, but also has the personality to fit the fat man. Also, he looks good with a moustache. He is absolutely the right actor for this part. After thoroughly thinking about my cast for the movie, I have come up with these actors and actresses.

The new motion picture based on the Story by Walter Van Tilburgh Clark “Why Don’t You Look Where Your Going?” Would be a sure hit in the theaters. First of the casting is a dream team Leonardo Dicaprio would be a good fit for the charming young man because of his great presence and ability to stand out in a crowd. The sailor, a young unsure Daniel Radcliff “Harry Potter” because he would seem innocent and shy. The Masculine young lady would be a great job for Rosie O’Donnell loud craving attention look as more like an outcast than a human being in the world today and definitely not shy about her opinion. Will Smith will be staring as the tall man he may not make many comments but you will always know where he is and provides important support for the other characters. Lastly the fat man Jim Beluchi a perfect fit will add humor and a sense of fun to the ship. The movie will have added scenes including when a passenger falls overboard and the young man jumps in to save her but drowns and is later spotted on the Dutchmen. The new version of the classic story in movie is sure to be a hit in the box office.

As director of Walter Van Tilburg Clark’s, “Why Don’t You Look Where You’re Going,” I have been given the opportunity to cast the movie’s main characters. In this full length motion picture, I have chosen Nicholas Cage to play the part of the sailor, a man who is intelligent, but an outcast in society. I feel Nicholas deserves this position in the film because he has a similar character in his new release, National Treasure: Book of Secrets. In National Treasure: Book of Secrets, Nicholas portrays Benjamin Gates, an outlandish man who is trying to uncover some of the nation’s secrets. Next, I have chosen Jason Dolley to play the part of the young man, a clairvoyant boy who is striving to become a leader. I feel Jason deserves this position in the film because he has a similar character in the popular show, Corey in the House. In this show, Jason portrays a peculiar boy striving to be the best that he can be. Next, I have chosen Conchata Ferrell to play the part of the masculine young lady, a very intelligent woman who is looked down upon because of her looks. I feel Conchata deserves this position in the film because she plays a similar role in the popular show, Two and a Half Men. In this show, Conchata plays an unattractive housekeeper, who always has the last word. Next, I have chosen William Petersen to portray the tall man, the person who first spots the sailor. I feel that William is deserving of this role because he plays a similar role in the popular show, CSI: Las Vegas. In this show, William is the leader of the crime scene investigators. In CSI: Las Vegas, William portrays the man who always knows the answers to the unsolved questions. Next, I have chosen the matron of the film to be portrayed by Katie Holmes. I feel she fits this part because she is a beautiful mom who is looked up to by many people. Lastly, I have chosen Jason Alexander to play the part of the fat man, a person who tells all of the bystanders about the object seen in the ocean. I feel Jason is deserving of this part because he played the rotund George Castanza in the popular show, Seinfeld. I feel that with all of these great actors and actresses, this motion picture could be the best movie since Citizen Kane.

Ok well, for my movie i think ive made some good choices. For the sailor i have picked Johnny Depp because he is just an amazing actor and can play the roll of anyone. Plus he is more a scruffy dirty looking kind of guy. For the young man i would pick Daniel Radcliffe because he is considered very good looking by all the girls and is very famous and is someone people look up to these days. For the Masculine young lady i pick Kristina Ricci because she is more chubby and has more of a masculine feature than most woman, and alse she is probably looked down apon for those things in the acting industry. For the tall man i pick Tim Robbins because from what ive seen in movies, he is huge. The matron would be Elizabeth Taylor because she seems very old, intellegence and sofisticated. And for the fat man i would pick John Goodman because well as you all know he is rather large, and he would just fit the roll of him very well.

My choices for who to cast for the movie "Why Don't You Look Where You're Going?" were very easy. The young man would be Leonardo DiCaprio. He fits the character perfectly because he has blonde hair and he is very good looking. I would cast Vince Vaughn from the movie "Dodgeball" as the tall man, because he could pull the character off well, being tall and calm. The actor to play the sailor came to my mind immediately as Johnny Depp. He was a great captain in "Pirates of the Carribean", and i think he could be a good sailor. I chose Julia Roberts for the matron, because she seems like a natural mother. Natalie Portman would be the masculine young lady in my movie. I think she is very manly, and she would be the best choice for the character. Finally, I selected Kevin James from "Chuck and Larry" to be the fat man, obviously because he is fat, and he is a very good actor. The cast I chose would make the movie a huge success.

If I were to create a movie for “Why Don’t You Look Where You’re Going?” I would choose many interesting charters for the role’s of the matron, the young masculine lady and the young man with fine blonde hair. For the matron I believe that the Felicity Hoffman, who is a caring mother of four on the TV series Desperate Housewives. In Desperate Housewives she play a very loving character. She lets her kids have adventures, though she makes sure they do not fall. The role of the young masculine lady would be played by Amy Bruckner, who is the character of Pim Diffy in the Disney channel TV series. She is a strong character who believes she knows everything and wants to say everything first, such as the masculine young lady in this novel. Also, she is not a very girly character and she is very young. For the young man with fine blonde hair I would choose Chad Micheal Murray. He is in the series One Tree Hill. He plays a character where he gets things done just as the young man with fine blond hair did. Chad also has fine blond hair and is very good-looking just as the man in the novel is described.

I am making the cast for the movie “Why Don’t You Look Where You’re Going?” This was a more challenging blog for me because I don’t know tons of actors but I gave it my best shot. For the Sailor I used Johnny Depp because all of the times I’ve seen him in movies he did kind of weird rolls that never got along with everyone which made me think that he would be good for a person not fitting in with society. For the Young Man with fine blond hair used Patrick Dempsey I truthfully had no idea who to put for this but was recommended to put him for this because according to my sister he looks good. For the Fat man I used Ned Beatty because he is one of those people who don’t really care what others think about what he wears (i.e. linen knickers). For the Matron with twin six year olds I thought of Gloria Foster because she kind of guides (like a lot of mothers do) everyone along in the movie the Matrix. For the Tall man I chose Ian McKellen because I could see him in a gray topcoat and I believe he is a bit conservative. For the Masculine young lady I chose Kristie Alley because I can see her as an outspoken person not caring what others think of her.

Why Don’t You Look Where You’re Going? The Movie
For my casting of the movie version of "Why Don't You Look Where You're Going?" I would most likely choose Kevin James from “King Of Queens” as the fat man because he’s fat and very personable even if he doesn’t know what he’s talking about. For the masculine lady I would choose Milla Jovovich because she’s in a lot of movies with guns and killing and acting like a guy when she plays in the Resident Evil movies. Next I would pick Claire Danes for the matron because she just seems like a young responsible mother. I think Leonardo DiCaprio would be perfect for the young man with his long blonde hair and blue eyes with his ability to do a great job acing and getting into the character. The tall man should be played by James Stewart because you can just see him in a topcoat and very tall along with his intelligence. Finally I chose Tom Hanks for the sailor because I can see him surviving a shipwreck and living like he did in “Castaway”.

There weren't many actors or actresses that could fit the role of the character's in " Why Don't You Look Where Your Going " But I manached to find some. First of all to play the part of the square masculine young lady I chose Rose Odennal. Both are outcasts in society and don' t fit the descripition of what a woman is supposed to be. To be The Matron I would pick Jessica Alba. She is still young and i think an appropriate choice for the Matron. To be the fat I would pick Drew Carey. He is an excellent actor and could do just about any part but is best suited fo rthe fatman. To be young boy with fine blonde hair I would pick Johnathon Jaxson who you may not know but is an actor in FLorida who is young and has blonde hair and he has blue eyes . Finally, for the Flying Dutchman I would pick Johnny Depp who would very well in a role as a sailor as he did an excellent job acting as a pirate in all of the Pirates of the Caribbean movies. Finally, Bruce Willis would do well as the man in the gray top coat since he's a very curios and mysterious actor. As for adding parts into the movie I would probably have a part where someone comes up from one of the lower decks. I might also, try to get some more scenes in with The Flying Dutchman since I believe he could become a mjaor part in a movie. As for music i would try to get something mysterios for when the people on the ocean liner are trying to figure out what it is they see far inthe disance. That is what I would do if I was the director of Why Don't You Looke Where Your Going.

I chose to create a soundtrack for Why Don’t You Look Where You’re Going. The opening track for the film would be “Better Together” by Jack Johnson. This song could be used to show the cruise ship’s leisurely attitude. “Better Together” is a very calming song which shows how the passengers were before the saw the sailor. When the passengers finally spot the sailor, the song that will play is “A Place in This World” by Taylor Swift. This song is all about a person who is trying to find where they fit in the world. I think that the girl in the song is alike the sailor because they are both individuals who are unknown and living their lives the way that they want to. When the sailor awakes suddenly, about to be crushed by the massive ocean liner, “Breakthrough” by Hope 7 will play. The sailor immediately starts working to get his small boat moving and out of the way of the liner. Two songs play in the credits. “I Don’t Wanna Be” by Gavin Degraw shows how the sailor feels because he does not want to be like the people on the liner, who act how they should act instead of how they want to act. The sailor wants to act like himself instead of other people, just like the song implies. “Do You Feel” by the Rocket Summer is a song that implies that the world is not perfect and even though we did not create the it, we have to try to fix the world. I think that this song can describe the society on the liner because their world could be less predestined and more free-willed.

If I was the director of a movie based on the short story, “Why Don’t You Look Where You’re Going” I would cast Brad Pitt as the young man. I would cast him because he’s young, attractive and very witty just like the person from the story. For the sailor I would chose someone like John Candy, because I think he typically plays the part of the fat man in most of his movies. For the masculine young lady I think Jody Foster would be a good person because she seems very smart and brave. For the position of the tall man I would cast George Clooney because he seems to fit the tall, formal, business like description of the tall man very well and for the part of the sailor I would chose Tom Hanks. I like Tom Hanks for this role because of his role in forest Gump I think it suits the sailor from the short story and he’s very humorous. A song I would choose for the movie would be, “Dare You to Move” by Switch Foot because the song is about people getting up for their ordinary lives and doing something good for the world. I think it really relates to the story. An ending song that I would use would be “Float On” because in the end of the story you can’t tell if the people on the liner will ever change and float on is the perfect song to end the story.

If I was casting for "Why Don't You Look Where You're Going?" I would cast Hillary Swank as the masculine young lady because she comes across as a masculine woman. I would cast John Goodman as the fat man because he is a large man and would fit the criteria. As the matron I would cast Jamie Lynn Spears because she is newly pregnant and young. For the young blond man i would choose Leonardo DiCaprio because he was great in Titanic which is also about a huge ocean liner. As the tall man i would choose Ryan Stiles because he is very tall and i can see him playing the part perfectly. Finally, my choice for the sailor would be Sylvester Stallone. You may laugh but I can see him in the scruffy looking attire wandering aimlessly in the sea. I also think he would have a strong yell when saying, "why don't you look where you're going?"

My casting decisions for the movie "Why Don't You Look Where You're Going?" involved a lot of different types of characters. For the young man with fine blond hair, I would pick Leonardo DiCaprio from the movie "Titanic." Not only is this person young with fine blond hair, but I think that Leonardo would be good in this role, since it seems as if he can take on the role of almost any character. For the sailor, I would cast Johnny Depp, since he has had a lot of experience being a sailor in "Pirates of the Carribean." Plus, he has already been on the "Flying Dutchman." For the square masculine young lady, I would pick Rosie O'Donnell. I think she would be good in this role because of her attitude and more masculine shape. For the matron I would pick Kate Hudson. She reminds me of someone that would be a caring and nurturing mother. I would cast Yao Ming as the tall man, probably because Yao is extremely tall. And for the role of the fat man, I would pick Jack Black. He is one of my favorite actors. Jack would do well in this role because he is somewhat heavy and has the personality that fits the fat man. For song suggestions, I would pick songs that had a somewhat eerie sound to them, and kind of gave off an eerie mood.

If i were directing this movie i would choose my actors because of the way they come off at first glance. i would do this because the characters don't have names just descriptions so i would use actors that fit these descriptions. For the role of the fat man i would cast john Goodman. For the masculine young lady i would get Demi Moore as she was in G. I. Jane. For the Flying Dutchman i would call on Tom Hanks as he is in Castaway. For the young man i would ask Leonardo DiCaprio. As the Tall man i would call upon Yao Ming. Finally for the matron i picture Tippi Hedren from The Birds being the perfect actress.

I decided to create a cast of Hollywood stars in the movie, "Why Don't You Look Where You're Going." For the masculine young lady I chose Drew Barrymore because I think that if she gained some weight for the role, she could demonstrate masculine qualities. Vince Vaughn would be perfect for playin g the tall man simply because he is tall and can give off a mysterious vibe. The matron would be played by Jodie Foster because she is one of the older and more mature actresses. John Candy would play the fat man. I know he is dead, but I think he would be perfect because he is fat and can be obnoxious. The sailor would be played by Jack Nickelson because he could look very odd and unkempt in tattered clothes and a beard. Finally, and most importantly, I would play the young man with fine blonde hair because of my hair color. I would choose to play this man as well because I am a good leader and when people look up to me I never let them down. Hopefully, I will get this movie to play on the big screen with this all-star cast, but if I don't, I will settle for a Grammy.

If I was to direct a movie on Why dont you look where you are going by Walter Van Tibburgh Clark I would choose to add a few extra scenes to the movie. I would flesh out the sailor on the Flying Dutchman much more. I think that he was a very underwritten character, I would start out by telling more about him before the boat almost hit him."Ugh, there goes another one of those hideous cruise ships on the horizon over there I thought to myself as I laid on the deck of my fine ship. All they do is pollute the air with thier smoke stacks and the guest on them are disgusting in how they sit there and think they are exploring the ocean or something. I took my compass out of the pocket of my one piece full body bathingsuit, I knew that no one had worn them in ages, but I didnt really care. My compass said I was headed North, right on track towards this deserted little island in the middle of nowhere, I can sit around there alone and live off coconuts and such for days, I love it. I thought this would be a good place to stop and rest for a while though, so I pulled in my sail and stretched my arms back behind my head and dozed off to the sounds of the ocean washing up against my boat. I peacefully awakened about an hour and a half later to some sort of noise off in the distance, on the other side of my boat. It sounded sort of like some seagulls squaking or something, but this was much too far out for seagulls so I peaked out and to my suprise a giant ocean liner was right on top of me! Those bumbling idiots hardly even saw me! I dashed to my sails and let them down, As they started to billow with wind I shouted to the apes up on the top deck to look where they were going. I skipped across the calm water like a stone throw across the surface of a lake and into some small islands. I guess I will have to just get some rest here I thought as I sprawled out onto the sand and drifted into a deep sleep.

In the casting for my "Why Dont You Look Where Your Going?" would be interested. I didnt have much trouble casting the crew. For the tall man, I'd choose Nicholas Cage, he seems quiet and contempt and also tall and thin, and kind of a spooky look to him that would go along well with the long black coat. The fat man would be Jason Alexander. Jason Alexander is from Seinfeld, and is short, fat, and could be happy, but also snappy, or all about business. The young man, I would choose Leonardo DiCaprio, he is young, good looking, groomed, and established. He takes what he does seriously. For the brave woman, I'd choose Nicole Kidman. Although she is not chubby, she looks like a man to me, and also has a very brave and powerful look to her. The matron would be the mother from Cheaper By The Dozen. She is older, and has many kids to take care of, much like the woman in the story. She is the typical soccer type looking mother. The sailor, would be Billy Bob Thorton, because he is scroggy, loud, curses alot, and all about getting whats needed to be done done. The movie would have a happy, and kind of natural feel too it, with a slow genre of music. I would categorize this movie as a family movie, or maybe even a comedy.
