12-9 Senior Lab Day and Weekend Homework

While in the lab today, work on journal #3 Every Picture Tells a Story. Your response must be posted before Tuesday.

For homework this weekend, read the short story, The Shawl. I can promise you that this one is in your book. The story is set in a Nazi concentration camp, and given the setting, the story is as terrifying as you might expect. Note how the object of "the shawl" takes on an almost magical importance for the main characters.

Make 10-15 question and comments on the story for a possible class discussion on Monday or to help you for a possible in-class writing assignment on that day.
