Soph and Senior Essays

Because of the fierce nature of the storm, I will extend due dates for the soph and senior essays.

Seniors can expect to hand in essays two days after we return to school.

Soph essays are postponed indefinitely. Expect essays to be due 4-5 days after we return.

Seniors who have completed their essays can e-mail them to me during this "snow vacation" if they choose.

Hope this clears up things.

My favorite horror movie would have to be The Mist. The Mist was originally a book written by Stephan King. The fiction movie was very gory, exhilarating, and it always kept me on my toes. In my opinion, The Mist was extremely scary, but I enjoyed all the mysteries in it. When I watched The Mist for the first time I never expected what was going to happen next and that’s one of the reasons why I like this movie so much. Stephan King never made it predictable at any point. I’m not actually a huge fan of horror movies, but this one in particular always had me feeling so many different emotions at the same time. I would be very scared and nervous for the people in the movie. No matter how many times I watched this movie, my heart would be beating racing fast. I also think a big part of why I really enjoy this movie is because I like my heart racing and my palms sweating. It gives me almost a rush of excitement and The Mist always makes me feel that way. Stephan King is a great author and ever since I watched The Mist, I wanted to read Stephan King’s others books. Stephan King mainly writes fiction novels. I’m not a huge fan of fiction, but the way Stephan King writes it makes it almost seem to be real. When I sometimes read other fiction books, I know when I’m reading fiction. When I read Stephan King’s fiction book I get lost in it and I almost forget that I’m reading a fiction novel. I admire Stephan King for writing in such a way that it makes me feel like I’m reading something real.
